NYX L’Oréal Birmingham Bullring: Professional Products at an Affordable Price Tag.

Recently unveiled in Birmingham, the NYX L’Oréal store is the first standalone store of its kind to be launched in the UK.

Located inside the Birmingham Bullring shopping centre, the NYX L’Oréal store comprises 1,700 square feet, on the Upper Level West, of modern architecture and high ceilings.

The complex nature of the site required a lighting design that was versatile and functional whilst also being aesthetically pleasing. The store features beauty stations and makeup display cases so a lighting design which uses LED lighting strips and professional LED projectors to accentuate key focal points was created.

A curtain of metal chains was hung in the shop window and specialist up-lighting was used to create a feature during out of hours. To make the shop entrance stand out, a black metal portal design was introduced to frame the entire perimeter of the shop front. Digital screens were used in the shop window to display advertisements and the brand logo was illuminated internally on the top of the portal entrance.
